American Studies explores central themes and issues in American life using materials and approaches from literature, art, pop culture, history, and ideas about culture and social institutions that come from sociology, political science, geography, and other fields. Many of the assignments you will do in American Studies involves reading texts in a variety of formats and alsp finding resources to support your argument.
