Classical Net Home Page:This site provides a point of entry to over 2500 sources of information about classical music, as well as links to over 2200 music related Web sites.     Development of Western Music: This site provides links to the development of Western music originated as folk music traditions of England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland, composed by people who settled and worked in both the western part of Canada and the United States.                                                                                             Essentials of Music: Created in cooperation with W.W. Norton & Co. This site provides background information on the various classical music genres, composers, as well as a helpful glossary of definitions of musical terminology.
